KMU Akademie & Management AG was founded in January 2006. In 2008, science and education, along with health and ecology, were recognised as one of the most important pillars of the economy in Europe. With this in mind, educational opportunities have been further developed, focusing on a wide range of education as well as distance learning.
Consequently, in 2008, KMU Akademie began to offer its first part-time course via a virtual “classroom” to meet the needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs=KMU). The following year, the academy succeeded in entering the higher education sector with a university course.
In the field of scientific and higher education, Middlesex University in London, with its excellent reputation and high international recognition, was won as a partner in 2011. Since then, Middlesex University has been offering German-language studies via distance learning with the organisational and economic support of the KMU Akademie. So far, the Bachelor of Science (BSc), the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and the Master of Science (MSc) have been validated step by step and have already been successfully integrated.
In addition to these cooperation programs, KMU Akademie & Management AG was also accepted as an extraordinary member of the ACR (Austrian Cooperative Research) scientific group.
Furthermore, the study programs at Middlesex University were registered with the organizational and economic support of KMU Academy by the Central Office for Distance Learning (ZFU = Zentralstelle für Fernunterricht) in Germany and reported to AQ Austria in Austria in accordance with Section 27 HS-QSG. KMU Akademie & Management AG was also able to obtain numerous other memberships in the education sector.
Since KMU Akademie & Management AG stands for the interests and concerns of SMEs (small and medium-sized enterprises), we will continue to design innovative training and further education in the future in order to enable you to study part-time, flexibly, independent of time and location .
